WE KEEP THE UNDERFLOOR IN VIEW

AERODYNAMICS

Out of sight, out of mind. Like the dark side of the moon, the underfloor is the unknown side of a car. Not for Röchling. With “Seeberlite II,” we developed a material made of porous layers that can do a great many things simultaneously. It has high strength and rigidity – making it impervious to bumpy roads, potholes or stone chipping. At the same time, it is extremely light. The complete Seeberlite II underfloor from a premium class vehicle on a weighing machine would barely register 4.5 kilograms. This results in fewer emissions. The material is also an excellent absorber of road noise.
